Jatamunsi Root powder. Tonic & Calming.
Action and uses as per Ayurveda: Tonic to circulatory, nervous, digestive, respiratory, reproductive systems. Aromatic, antispasmodic, diuretic, carminative, deobstruent, kidney stones, jaundice, removes blood impurities, spasmodic, hysteria and other nervous, convulsive ailments (nervousness, anxiety, dysmenorrhea, insomnia.). It helps to ease heart palpitations, headache, flatulence, epilepsy and convulsions. Can be used for bronchitis, asthma, jaundice, antispasmodic.
Note: The quality and part of the plant used are highly important in the manufacturing and processing of herbal powders. Certain parts are more potent and effective than others. Fiber and other unwanted material should be removed as they do not have any herbal properties (except to increase the weight and quantity).
